Vanguard Public Affairs Hires Fundraising Professional Ann Marie Stafford as Vice President of Devel
Vanguard Public Affairs is announcing the hire of respected development professional Ann Marie Stafford as the company continues its growth in the Michigan marketplace.
Stafford, who joins Vanguard as the company’s Vice President of Development, has 25 years of experience in fundraising; grant writing, and corporate and non-profit giving strategies. For clients with aspirational goals that require financial and development resources, Stafford’s experience makes the impossible possible. Her work with Vanguard will be apolitical, focused solely on non-profit, corporate, and philanthropic issues.

Before joining Vanguard, Stafford worked for the Republican National Committee as Deputy Director for Intraparty Development, Appointments Director for Governor John Engler, and as Public Affairs Director for Secretaries of State Terri Lynn Land and Ruth Johnson.

Stafford also has served as chief fundraiser for the American Heart Association - Michigan, R-PAC Director for the Michigan Association of Realtors, and Vice President of Development for Holy Cross Services. She holds a bachelor’s degree from Kalamazoo College.
