We're Hiring: Fundraising Intern

Vanguard Public Affairs — a leading Lansing, Michigan-based public affairs and strategic communications firm — is seeking a motivated fundraising intern to assist our various nonprofit clients.
You must submit a cover letter and resume in order to be considered for this position.
Day-to-Day Role:
Assist in the creation of fundraising marketing campaigns for donors
Provide database support by creating, updating and managing donor information
Support fundraising team with prospecting and pitching of new funders
Write campaign content and fundraising solicitations alongside staff
Work with art department and communications managers to create and update marketing/branding materials
Work with fellow interns on group assignments
Provide administrative support as necessary
Core Skills and Qualifications:
The ideal candidate must possess all of the following:
Open to current college students or recent graduates
Proficient with Google Drive, Microsoft Office suite and MailChimp
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Strong organizational and analytical skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize daily tasks
Must work well with others and have a team-oriented mindset
Must be positive, self-motivated, and readily accept feedback
Ability to attend/staff client fundraising events as needed
Preferred Skills and Qualifications:
Previous experience in fundraising, nonprofit, sales, etc.
