Vanguard Public Affairs Moves to Historic Downtown Lansing Comerica Bank Building, Hires Two Additional Team Members
Vanguard Public Affairs, a Lansing-based strategic communications and public affairs firm, has moved its headquarters to the 14th floor of the historic downtown Lansing Comerica Bank Building after celebrating its fifth anniversary in May.
“We’re proud of our collective effort since our company’s inception in 2014,” said President and Managing Partner TJ Bucholz. “Our successes through the years ultimately stem from our clients and the dedicated team here at Vanguard. We wouldn’t be where we are now without them and are grateful for their commitment to our shared vision.”
Building on an already successful year for Vanguard, the firm has added two new team members to the roster: Wes Buskirk and Kayden Grinwis.
Buskirk, a 2016 Grand Valley State University graduate, will serve as the company’s multimedia specialist. Buskirk is well-versed in graphic design, photography, videography and audio production. Before joining Vanguard, Buskirk was the co-founder of a Michigan web solutions company. He specialized in designing instructional graphics and producing video tutorials for both schools and businesses.
Grinwis, a 2013 Grand Valley State University graduate, joins the team as digital director. His experience covers all things digital marketing, from PPC advertising, search engine optimization and website strategy, to email marketing, social media and CRM integration. Since graduating, Kayden has worked with in-house marketing teams and communications agencies throughout western Michigan.
“It’s an exciting time for Vanguard as we’ve added two more talented individuals to our team,” said Partner Jen Eyer, “We’re eager to see their skills in action as they work tirelessly to cater to our clients and their needs.”
