Tell us about your role at Vanguard
My role at Vanguard is to ensure that our clients are leveraging the digital landscape to its fullest extent, and that their audiences are able to find and engage with them online. This encompasses various platforms, from search engine optimization and digital advertising to social media, websites, and blogging.
What issues are most important to you?
I could talk for hours about equality. Every human - queer, straight, trans, cis, black, white, disabled, short, tall - deserves fair treatment and equal opportunity. At the end of the day, we're all just people trying to live our best lives.
How do you define success?
In the digital realm, success is all about the user experience. Can a target audience find you when they're looking for you? When they do find you, can they locate what they're looking for, and do they have a positive experience while they do? Do you make it easy for them? Are you providing value to their lives?
Digital marketing is so much more than a Facebook post. Successful digital strategies provide value to audiences and build long-term relationships with people.
